The fan on this unit is SO LOUD that it is simply not appropriate for home office or home theater computer applications. The downside to this new unit did not become apparent until I plugged it in. I am on Oxygen Therapy 24/7 and use an APC BR1500G UPS on my oxygen concentrator. APC's "Trade UPS" program made this easy and less costly. As my systems grew, I increased my UPS capacities. Since then, I have only used APC products. In 1994, my non-APC UPS failed and the company gave me no recourse. I Got APC UPS I have been using UPS since 1992.
